9-15 November 2009
11-17 January 2010

9-15 August 2010
13-19 September 2010
11-17 October 2010
8-14 November 2010

Bear in mind that it would not be viable to take less than 4 people at a time, so any booking would be preliminary until we can fill all seats. We would obviously keep you updated on a regular basis and would confirm the dates well in advance. Payment would only be required at the stage where a group is confirmed.

Please note that we always leave early on Monday mornings (not later than 07h00) and we would pick you up at a convenient location. People wishing to fly into Nelspruit should do so on a Sunday, and we would arrange a pick-up from KMIA Airport. The Sunday night's accommodation would be for your own account. We can accomodate two persons in a detached flatlet @ R400 for the night and this would be available on a first-come first-served basis. Should you be driving please ensure that you meet the deadlines.

You would obviously need some cash for your drinks or anything else you wish to buy. It is always better to pay im Meticais and we normally change money at the Komatipoort border - the present rate is about MT3.30 to the Rand. Cash in MT can be freely drawn in Inhambane at the Autotellers and cash can be changed at the Inhambane market as well. You should be OK with R1000 - R2000.

Depending on how busy the border is, travelling from Nelspruit normally takes about 8-9 hours. The same applies when returning. We normally reach Barra by 15h00. Returning, we prefer to leave at 04h00 and Nelspruit is reached at about 13h00. Please take this into consideration when arranging transport from Nelspruit.
