Meyer Domiplan 50mm F2.8:This is probably the cheapest M42 lens available, both in build quality and performance. Unlike other all-metal M42 lenses, the Domiplan is a plastic bodied lens. They were issued with the Praktica L cameras to offer a very cheap and good 35mm camera to the masses. Probably not the best 50mm M42 out there, but not much worse than some of today's cheap 50mm lenses either.
