Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH27 features a newly developed 28mm
wide-angle high quality LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with powerful 8x
optical zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 28-224mm) into a slim, compact
body. Also, features a 1/2.33-inch CCD with effective 16.1-megapixel
high-resolution. It can record motion images in high-definition (1,280 x
720 pixels at 24 fps in Motion JPEG format). The pixel mixed readout
method enables bright motion-image recording even in low-light settings.
Also, records standard motion images in VGA (640 x 480 pixels at 30 fps)
and QVGA (320 x 240 pixels at 30 fps).
The DMC-FH27 large 3.0-inch touch-screen LCD features high 230,000-dot
resolution Intelligent LCD. It automatically adjusts the brightness in
11 steps according to shooting conditions. Take photos even when you
don't have an SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card on hand. The built-in memory
holds up to approx. 70MB of image data, which you can later copy to an
SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Card or computer.

| The Face Detection AF/AE function detects
faces and automatically optimizes the focus and exposure settings.

Intelligent Scene Selector automatically sets the Scene Mode to
