Spiratone Bellows & Lenses:It is common knowledge that the best macro photography is performed with a macro bellows attachment. These M42 bellows use special flat surface macro lenses, although one can use any close focus M42 wide angle lens as well, with excellent results. With a bellows, one can go much larger than 1:1 with absolute crispness and clarity, although good lighting becomes a crucial aspect in extreme close-ups. These are now virtually unobtainable.
